Drew Lesicko. Jewish Student Life Corrdinator.

Drew began working at hillel a year ago.  As the JSLC, he works with the student leaders helping them develop their student-initiated programs.  Most of his time this year has been spent molding Tzedek Hillel into the fabulous organization that it is.  Drew is a great addition to the Hillel staff and is always there to make a minyan, shleep heavy stuff or crack some killer jokes about the students.

Hanan Nayberg Israel Fellow.

Hanan came to Texas all the way from Israel.  His job is a lot like the JCSC, but with more of an Israel focus, which is a big help for me!  Hanan was a big part of the reason we took 74 students to Israel on Birthright.  He works closely with Texans for Israel and attends all of their weekly coffeehouses.  Hanan will eat any food insight and treat it like a gourmet meal, even though it may just be Shabbat leftovers.

Rabbi David Kessel Executive Director.

Rabbi David Kessel, also know as RDK is enthusiastic, funt o work with and has a killer sarcastic sense of humor.  He is a great resource and is very supportive of the JCSC initiated programs.  He used to work at the Hillel International Center in Washington D.C. and moved here a couple of years ago with his wife, Rona, who is a doctor at the Seton clinic.  They have a daughter Abigail, who is two years old.  RDK loves eating food that is lying around building, so watch your candy!

Margo Sack Associate Director.

Margo has worked at Hillel for nearly a decade!  She is also one of the National Coordinator for the JCSC Fellowship and the JCSC supervisor.  She is a great resource and never fails to see the bright and positive side of things.   Margo supervises the student Executive Cabinet and overall student programming.  The Department of Jewish Student life as we like to call it, is the Texas Hillel programming team consisting of Margo, the JCSC Fellow and Betsy Goldin the Program Associate and Hanan Nayberg the Israel fellow.  It is a good idea to keep Margo well informed about everything, and she is always there to help you out at anytime of the day.

Director of Development.

This person acts as the main fundraising source for Hillel, she really has not too much to do with Hillel programming, but she might need help with getting names of students.  When they do a mass mailing, the entire staff is asked to help, so get ready to fold.

Robert Frank Receptionist.

Roberts job is to answers the phones. Most of the time Robert stays in his cubical, but sometimes he'll ask you to cover the phones for him if he goes for a smoke break or a restroom break.  It is really important for Robert to know if youre leaving the building so hell know what to do with your calls.  Robert has 3 loves in life: coffee, his pipe, and sweets know this and you will get along great!

Pete Vasquez Custodian.

Pete is an amazing individual.  He is one of those people you look at and wonder, how does he do it all?  His job is to set-up and clean up around the building in preparation for many Hillel programs and events, including Shabbat dinner every Friday.  Pete is around to assist with any building need and he is also a great help when moving furniture within the building (which happens a lot).  Usually, he is accompanied by one or more of his children, who are super sweet (usually his youngest, Amy).
